Free Christmas Sack Crochet Pattern



Materials
Small amounts worsted weight yarn in red and green
Size H crochet hook
Size: 3" tall
Gauge: 2 rounds of dc=1"
Note: Weave in ends as work progresses.
Rnd 1: With red, ch 21, dc in 3rd ch from hk and in each ch across, join w sl st in top of 1st dc (2o dc).
Rnds 2-3: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off red after Rnd 3 (20 dc).
Rnd 4: Join green w sl st in 1st dc of Rnd 3, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (20dc).
Rnds 5-6: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 6.
Finishing
Fold bag so joining seams are at the side rather than the center. Using a length of red yarn, whipstitch bottom of sack closed.
Ties
Cut 2 18" lengths of yarn-1 in red and 1 in green. Beginning at front center , weave the lengths through the dc sts of Rnd 6. Tie ends in bow. Trim ends to desired length.
Stuff sack with Christmas goodies and enjoy!

How to Crochet an Angel Ornament

Materials
Small amounts worsted weight yarn in peach and white
Size H crochet hook

Note: Weave in ends as work progresses.

Rnd 1: With peach, make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3, fasten off (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Join white w sl st in 3rd dc to left of joining dc of Rnd 1, ch 3, 2 dc in same dc, 2 dc in each of next 4 dc, 3 dc in last dc, fasten off (14 dc).
Rnd 3: Join white w sl st in top of 1st dc of Rnd 2, ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc across, fasten off (28 dc).

Halo hanging loop
Join white w sl st in 1st st to right of joining st of Rnd 1, ch 5, sl st in next dc, fasten off.

Hang on tree for a "heavenly" Christmas!

How to Crochet a Festive "Paper" Chain for Your Tree













Materials
Worsted weight yarn in red, white and green
Size H crochet hook
Row 1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch across (4 sc).
Rows 2-30: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across (4 sc). Fasten off after Row 30.
Weave in ends.
Joining Strips
Whipstitch short ends of red strip together with a length of red yarn. Insert white strip through red strip. Whipstitch short ends of white strip together with a length of white yarn. Insert green strip through white strip. Whipstitch short ends of green strip together with a length of green yarn. Continue joining in this manner, alternating red, white and green strips until your chain reaches the desired length.
Weave in ends.
